Borrow a carfrom a local, anywhere in Morocco.
A weekend away, a family visit, a business trip: with KeyLend, you borrow a local's car near you. Identities are verified, the vehicle's condition is recorded in photos and everything happens in the app.
Which vehicle for your trip?
Three questions to know which type of vehicle to look for and what to check before booking.
The type of vehicle to look for
A compact car or a saloon
Check before you book
- Air conditioning, boot space and motorway comfort.
- The listing photos and the reviews left by other borrowers.
Indicative advice. Availability depends on the vehicles listed in your city.
For which trips?
A few situations where borrowing a local's car makes the difference.
A weekend out of town
The coast, the mountains or a nearby city: you pick a vehicle that suits the road and the number of passengers, for two or three days.
A family visit
Coming back to Morocco for the holidays or a celebration? A vehicle on the spot for the length of your stay, to move from one city to the next.
A business trip
Arriving by train or plane, you collect the keys near the station or the airport and stay mobile throughout your assignment.
A one-off need
Moving house, your car at the garage, visitors to pick up: a vehicle for a day, with no commitment.
Three steps, from request to keys.
- 01
Create your verified profile
Add your national ID or passport and your driving licence. Your identity is verified before your first request.
- 02
Choose a vehicle near you
Filter by city and type of car, check the owner's profile and send your request. Payment is made by card, in the app.
- 03
Collect the keys
You meet the owner and complete the digital inspection together: 8 timestamped, geolocated photos, at pick-up and at return.
What you need to borrow a car.
An identity document
Your national ID or passport. It is used to verify your identity, once, when you create your profile.
A valid driving licence
Moroccan or foreign. The minimum age to borrow a vehicle is set by its owner and shown before you book.
A bank card
Payment is made securely by card, through Attijari Payments and the CMI.
Who can borrow a car on KeyLend?
Anyone whose identity has been verified and who holds a valid driving licence. The minimum age is set by each owner for their vehicle; KeyLend does not require a minimum number of years of licence.
I live abroad or I am visiting Morocco: can I borrow a car?
Yes. Passports and foreign driving licences are accepted.
How do I pay?
By bank card, directly in the app, through Attijari Payments and the CMI.
Is there a security deposit?
KeyLend does not handle security deposits: the platform neither charges nor holds one.
What are the rules for cancellation, fuel and mileage?
They are set by each owner. Check them before booking and, if in doubt, ask the owner.
How is the condition of the vehicle recorded?
Through a digital inspection completed with the owner, at pick-up and at return: 8 timestamped, geolocated photos that protect both parties.
